How to Select
Your Learning Journey…
We structure
the TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment into four Clusters:
- Learning
Design
- Language
Literacy and Numeracy
- Assessment
- Delivery
and Facilitation (Part 1 & Part 2)
Each Cluster is split into Formal Training, followed by Assessment Activities. All Assessment Activities are accessed and completed
via the MRWED Online portal. The formal
training for each Cluster can be completed through a variety of different
delivery methods. These are:
- Face
to Face (attending training in class at one of our national training
centres)
- Online
(web-based online learning, self-paced through our Learning Management System)
- Facilitator-led
Online via Zoom (scheduled online classes delivered via Zoom)
For more detailed information on our delivery
methods you can select the Training Options tabs on our website to view a breakdown of each mode: https://www.mrwed.edu.au/course/tae40116/certificate-iv-in-training-and-assessment
Please note: Face-to-Face delivery will allow you to participate
in up to 10 days of in-class training. The duration and all upcoming date
options for each cluster are available on our website: https://www.mrwed.edu.au/timetable
MRWED allows
students the flexibility to mix their delivery modes or schedule their Clusters
in any sequence. For example, you can choose to attend Learning Design via Face to Face, then complete Language, Literacy &
Numeracy Online at your own pace. Then you could participate in the Assessment
Cluster via a scheduled Facilitator-led Zoom session, then finally, return to
the classroom for both parts of Delivery & Facilitation Face to Face (Part 1 must be completed prior to Part 2).
When scheduling your training, consider
leaving ample time in between each Cluster to complete the Assessment
Activities via MRWED Online. This qualification is expected to take the average
learner approximately 6 to 12 months to complete.
